Hello Mommies

Today I wanted to share the recipe of a quick and delicious snack which I made for my daughter. With the rains pouring occasionally , this snack tastes even better. I will share the recipe of Paneer Bread Pakora today. It is easy to make and is prepared quickly. I like to stuff it with Paneer to make it appealing to my girl‘s taste buds. Lets look at the main ingredients for this snack.

Main Ingredients-

  • Bread slices (brown bread)
  • Gram flour (3-4 tablespoons)
  • Paneer (cottage cheese)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper powder
  • Coriander leaves (optional)
  • Oil (for deep frying)

Method Of Preparation-

First of all we need to prepare the stuffing for the paneer bread pakora. For that paneer is mashed properly and salt and black pepper powder is added and mixed. One may also add few strands of coriander leaves to enhance the taste of bread pakoras.

Now the gram flour paste is prepared in which the stuffed pakora is dipped to bind them together in the form of pakora.

For that take gram flour in appropriate quantity and add salt, pepper, chilli powder (only if your child likes to have spicy) and mix well to form a smooth paste. Make sure to stir the paste in one direction so that lumps of gram flour are not formed in it and it gets mixed well.

Take  deep kadai /frying pan to deep fry the bread pakora in it. Pour oil/ refined oil in it and place it over medium flame.

Now the bread slices are cut diagonally and paneer stuffing mixture is filled between two diagonally cut slices of bread.

Now dip this stuffed slice in the gram flour paste properly on all sides and deep fry in the kadai until the bread slices turn orange. Bread is quickly fried so make sure to keep the flame high while putting the bread slices. After frying take out the bread pakoras on a blotting/ tissue paper to get rid of the excess oil.

The Paneer Bread Pakora is ready to be served with your kid’s favorite sweet/ sour sauce or chutney.

You may keep changing the stuffing with vegetables, soya chunks, mashed potato etc. to give a different taste to your kid every time you make this. It is very quickly prepared snack and kids love to have it.

You can also give this snack in your kid’s lunch box!
