Teddy Nappy Pads Review

Now that my baby is about to turn a year old, I have resorted myself to diapering him in cloth ones. So, while I was looking for cloth diapers on the Internet, I came across Teddyy Nappy Pads with mostly positive reviews from the users. You know how it is while shopping online – if it has lots of positive reviews you end up buying it. So did I :-) Let’s see if I made the right decision or not.

My Experience with Teddyy Nappy Pads

I didn’t like the nappy pads when I used them for the first time. The reason being me. As I was used to disposable diapers I thought it would keep my baby dry for a longer period, but of course it didn’t. So, I thought it’s a total waste of money. But, after a few days I tried them again and this time I thought I would keep a watch. And I was pleasantly surprised to find it working really well.

I have quite an active baby, who just wouldn’t stay put in a place but despite all the movement the nappy was in place, thanks to its glued bottom :-) It even kept my baby’s bottom dry for at least one and a half hour (it holds up to three times of the pee, so if your baby pees at very short intervals then you might have to change it within an hour).

At present we are using both disposable as well as cloth diapers as it’s raining cats and dogs here and the weather is really cold (it’s the coldest month here, then we would have summer again :-( ). In the morning as soon as he wakes up we change him into cloth diaper and leave it on till he goes for his bath, which means it stays on him for about one and a half to two hours. If it gets wet earlier we just take it off, it’s really convenient to use it during the daytime.

Tip: As it’s raining here, we wouldn’t have dry cloth diapers sometimes so what I did is stick the Teddy nappy pad on his track pants. It works equally well :-)

What I like about Teddyy Nappy Pads

  • The lining is soft
  • It has elastic gathered sides so no leakage
  • It makes cleaning poop really easy
  • It sticks to the nappy really well
  • The pad is quite long, apt for most baby’s bottom
  • It’s very easy to peel it off
  • I haven’t seen any rashes on my baby’s bottom for so far
  • Available on most online shopping websites with baby products
  • It can be used for short distance travels when you know that you wouldn’t be out for more than an hour
  • Holds up to two to three times of your baby’s pee

What I don’t like about Teddyy Nappy Pads:

  • It’s not good for prolonged use or when you are on the move
  • If your baby poops very often then it’s not ideal for you

Will I Recommend it to others? Yes! If you are into cloth diapering your baby or looking for ways to save yourself from changing your baby’s nappy every 10-15 minutes then you must stock up on it.

Have you tried Teddyy Nappy Pads?
